This historic property is located in the very heart of Aruba’s capital, across the street from the old fort, diagonally across from the Governor’s offices and less than 100 meters (330 Feet) from City Hall.
Known as “Huisje Hart” (after the Hart family, owners of the house for generations), it is almost certainly the second-oldest building in Oranjestad after the Fort.
The abandoned property was purchased by our company in May of 2013. Restoration on the house started soon after. The work was finished in April 2015, and the property is now available for rent.
The property is a little over 300 m2 (3,229 Sq. Feet), while the house is around 50 m2 (538 Sq. Feet).
The house is divided into 3 main areas plus 2 small toilets. There is a little plaza in front of the house (facing the fort). The plaza will be available for use by the tenant (subject to prior approval).
Possible uses for the property include a coffee house, art gallery, offices, cigar bar, wine bar, etc.
